The Fourth Plinth (in Trafalgar Square) is a public art program established by the Mayor of London.

As part of his project, "The Invisible Enemy Should Not Exist", Artist Michael Rakowitz created Lamassu, a winged deity, using empty Iraqi date syrup cans representative of the industry destroyed by the Iraq wars. The original Lamassu guarded the entrance to Nineveh until 2015 when it was destroyed by ISIS. (London.gov.uk/fourthplinth)
